Remember as a youngster, looking for a puddle of water to walk thru? Most folks I knew had one good pair of shoes … and parents were not happy when that happened … wouldn’t take long to find a mud hole today…
A huge turnout at White Lake Friday for the fund raiser for a couple who suffered the loss of their house recently, due to fire … The food was good, the line of vehicles wrapped around city hall and the fire department, the service was good, the wait was much shorter than I first thought … Hopefully, it was a financial success.
Football fans are ‘stocking up’ for whatever they need for the Super Bowl, set for late Sunday … Kansas Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Bucs … should be a good game…
I will be happy when ‘virtual’ meetings are over and we resume a more normal lifestyle, in the meantime I will make every effort to abide by the rules … Had my shots … old folks do have a few advantages … No repercussions from the injections (both), doing well, thank you.
On the road today, visiting Johnston County, short visit. We, (my bride and I) are expecting our first great-grandchild in about 6 or 7 weeks, give or take a few days … Hopeful all goes well. Today, a drive-thru shower … another first…
Looking ahead to church Sunday … kinda spoiled … decision to make … whether to attend services in the multi-purpose building or watch online…
