Colder weather is on the way….Low temps are expected to be below freezing for the next week or longer. Temps could ‘dip’ below 20 degrees a couple of mornings. Plan accordingly.
The New Hampshire is set for today. Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump are expected to lead their respective tickets. The primaries move to South Carolina on Saturday, February 20.
North Carolina voters head to the polls on Tuesday, March 15.
Did you stay up late for the results of the Biggest Loser? Bladenboro native Lauren Clark was sent home. She had lost 68 pounds and is still eligible for big bucks for those who have departed the show. Her son and dad visited her on site prior to the weigh-in. Her mom departed the show earlier. This year’s winner will be announced on February 22nd.
I miss a medical system where doctors were in charge of their own office. Ever heard of doctors making house calls? Not recently, that is for sure. Healthcare systems are in charge today. Not bad, but different.
I still appreciate small business. A person or business that provides a service for a fee. Not easy. There are many good examples in Bladen County. If you don’t produce, you don’t get paid, and for many, they have to much pride to accept a handout. Then there are others.
