Thoughts While Shaving for January 15

‘Bout this time last year, the US economy was off to a good beginning … then problems began … COVID-19 issue began in China … and spread like wildfire … Saw a Bloomberg headline recently that caught my attention … “A Year After Covid Began, China’s Economy is Beating World.”

“The world’s second-largest economy is set on Monday to report gross domestic product increased 2.1% in 2020, the only major economy to have avoided a contraction, according to a Bloomberg survey of economists. China is now on course to pass the U.S. as the biggest economy in 2028, two years faster than previously estimated.”

Looking forward to ‘whipping’ COVID-19 in the U.S. and continue to be the ‘shining light on the hill’, the leader of all nations for years to come…

It most likely begins with a shot … that hopefully halts this dreaded disease…

A 60% chance of rain today, with a high near 62 and windy … More of the same tonight … Beginning Saturday, mostly sunny skies through the middle of next week with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s and 40s … Not bad for January…

Bladen County Commissioners meet Monday, 6:30 PM. Majority of the members are new … but solid citizens … all will be well…
