Thoughts While ShavingEver wonder about all the moving in and out of Washington DC when a new boss comes to town. U Haul folks are likely busy, or will be.

Thousands of current employees will be clearing out their offices while another group waits to replace them. Pictures, diplomas and other complimentary certificates will be hung quickly.

Happens every time a new administration takes over and even more so when it involves a party (Rep – Dem) change.

Same is true in Raleigh, just not as many, and less this year because of action by the Legislature.

Let the system work. Winners reap the rewards.

Wonder when the Obamas actually leave the White House and the Trumps move in? My guess is soon, if not already.

Today will be the final day in the Oval office for President Obama. President-elect Trump takes the oath of office Friday (tomorrow).

Wonder when all pics of the incoming President arrive at federal offices across the US…Post Office, Federal Ag agencies, etc. are mailed out. Expect to see them soon.

How many changes at the top do you remember? I remember when Pres. Eisenhower was elected. I was a freshman at Bladenboro High School (1953).

While shaving this AM could not help but think about when I had a full head of hair. Lots of changes over the years.

Think the 77 temp yesterday was a new record for Bladen County. According to National Weather stats, the previous high for January 18 was 72 degrees.
