Thoughts While Shaving for January 20

Pray for a safe, successful day for the USA … A change of leadership occurs at noon time in D.C. … The eyes of the world will be watching … Mom would tell us, you must know how to win and how to lose…

Remember when the East Bladen Band participated … mmm 19??, a long time ago, under the direction of Ray B. Haney…

Today, very different, much due to COVID-19…

My prayer is all who want shots can be vaccinated as soon as possible … Over 400,000 deaths attributed to coronavirus … in the USA in about 10 months.

In July and August, when the temp is the 90s, sometime triple digits, I think about January and February … but a different tune when it arrives … Actually, I enjoy spring and summer…

Average high temp for January is 54 and low is 33 … and average rainfall is 4 inches…

Forecast for today is for partly sunny skies, gradually becoming sunny with a high near 57, but windy, gusts up to 21 mph. Mostly clear tonight, low around 32. Tomorrow, partly sunny with a high near 55 and windy with gusts as high as 17 mph … Looking ahead … low Saturday night near 27 degrees.

Green wood in a trash heater is a tough way to stay warm…

Must be very difficult for all associated with our school systems … teachers, students and administration.

“It isn’t what you have in your pocket that makes you thankful, but what you have in your heart.” Anonymous
