Thoughts While ShavingPrepare for another big change in the weather.  Windy and warmer is the forecast for today.

Both high school basketball teams play tonight.  East Bladen at Pender and West Bladen at Heide Trask.

East Bladen girls (19-0, 9-0) and West Bladen boys (14-4, 5-4) are having very good seasons.

Well, did you watch the Presidential debate last evening, or did you watch the Trump affair?  Or did you, like me, decide to skip the events?

Iowa caucuses will be held Monday, February 1st.  New Hampshire is the next stop, followed by South Carolina.  North Carolina voters must wait ’til March 15 to cast a vote, a move forward from early May.

Spent sometime yesterday re-visiting some of the places I spent time as a youngster.  Brought back many memories.  Introduced Norgie Hester to the real world.  He was a resident of downtown Clarkton as a youngster.

Unless there is a miracle on Wall Street today, this could be the worst January in recent years for investors, maybe the worst ever.  Still 11 months to change the course and make 2016 a good year.
