Thoughts While Shaving for July 16

There appears to be some positive news … One interesting article yesterday was about a lab that hopefully has produced medication to ‘battle’ the COVID 19 virus … More research is needed … If memory is correct, the first trial was on about 50 patients, give or take a few … but it appeared to be successful. Next step is to test a larger group … Pray for success.

Just one of many labs attempting to find a solution to the virus that has ‘stopped’ the world as we have known it…

Not sure I understand the stock market, from bad to much improved … hopeful conditions continue to get better and it is shared world wide.

Sometimes, just wish I enjoyed fishing … with a cane pole and a bucket of worms, a cool drink of water … Not ‘wired’ that way … and envy those who are.

Remember, as a youngster, going into the woods and finding huckleberries and briarberries. Occasionally, would pick enough to bring home … mostly just eat them where they were … never a care … unless I discovered a poison plant of some type and come home with an ‘itch’. Mom had some homemade remedies … some worked … sometimes…

Checking the weather forecast … A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92 and a 20% chance of rain … Same forecast for the next several days … Hot, hot, hot…

“A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing and the lawn mower is broken…”

“I love summertime more than anything else in the world. That is the only thing that gets me through the winter, knowing that summer is going to be there.” Jack McBrayer

“Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.” Buddha
