It’s Sunday, time to pause and give thanks for our many blessings … Many opportunities, some on Internet, some in person…

Hot outside, and will continue today. Forecast is for isolated showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 95, values in the 103 range, a southwest wind 3 to 5 mph and a 20% chance of precipitation. Same type weather tonight, with a low around 74.

Tomorrow (Monday), scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 94. Heat index values as high as 104. Southwest breeze around 7 mph. 40% chance of rain, new rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Crops looking good … smaller crowds at nearby lakes … Folks apparently in an ‘at ease’ kind of pace…

Still sad news related to the baby found in a garbage can in the Wilmington area. Mom has been determined, arrested and in jail … Sad…

The drug and drug related business never slows, thank goodness law enforcement officials continue to do their business … bust’em and lock them up.

How about the issues facing our educators and students? No good answers related to what is best, in this environment, so it seems…
