Thoughts While Shaving for July 4

Happy 4th of July … Checking the weather forecast … Sunny, with a high near 96 today … A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 p.m. this evening, low around 72…

Looking ahead to Sunday … a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 93 … chance of precipitation is 30% with rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms…

I was just thinking of the changes that have occurred since last July 4th at every level … our county, state, nations worldwide … too numerous to begin naming…

Seems good news has taken a ‘back seat’ … but there is good news … just have to believe, this too shall pass.

For many, a trip to White Lake on July 4th is a given … Vacation for many … Enjoy the day and week … For some, just another work day…

Sidewalk Sale continues in Elizabethtown…

Our worship services, how we worship, where we worship has changed … but worship services will be held tomorrow (Sunday).

Hopefully we will do our best in these unusual times, look to the future … and maintain a good attitude. … Do unto others as we would have them do to us…

I am a dreamer … a thankful dreamer…

The struggle ends when gratitude begins…

Be thankful for what you are not, and keep fighting for what you want to be tomorrow…

Let’s take a break from complaining about America to celebrate America.
