The race for President of US will apparently be at least a 3-ring circus, maybe more. Not the first time, the most successful 3rd party candidate, Ross Perot, was a distant 3rd in the 1996 race taking about 19% of the popular vote. He entered, exited then re-entered, in a race along with Bill Clinton (D) and George H.W. Bush (R).
Gary Johnson, former New Mexico Governor’ will be the Libertarian candidate, and there is still conversation about an Independent challenger.
Will be interesting to see if Trump or Clinton is the ‘Biggest Loser.’
Think you or I have as good chance of being president as an Independent or Libertarian does. Die hard Republicans and Democrats will support their nominee, even if they were Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse.
Interesting that US Senator Richard Burr(R) and Governor Pat McCrory(R) are visiting in Bladen County over the next few days. Smart politicians. The metro areas have more voters and become targeted areas as election day draws near.
Will be much conversation about the NC Senate budget just released. The NC House has already approved their budget, now negotiations begin.
