Thoughts While Shaving For June 15

Friday’s weather was near perfect. … Today, another sunny day, a little breezy and highs in the low 80s. Weather for Father’s Day, sunny with a high in the upper 80s, breezy with gust up to 20 mph. Next chance of rain. … Wednesday and Thursday with a 30% to 40% chance of thunderstorms.

Bet we have all heard our pastor speak about a message “the Lord has placed on his heart”. … I’m not a minister, but did have a dream recently about how some have so much talent and others so little. How some are successful in business, sports or other endeavors. … No doubt some are born with more natural talent than others, but sometimes those of us with less fail to use what we do have … and easy for us to make excuses.

We can’t all shoot a basketball like Michael Jordan, or have resources to start a business, or any number of other ideas … but we do have the ability to determine where we ‘fit in’ and use all we have been blessed with to the best of our ability. My unsolicited sermon for today. Ask the ushers to come forward to take up a collection … smile.

Folks ask where do you get your ideas from. … Truthfully, all ‘kinda off the wall.” Try not to take myself, or others, to seriously.
