Thoughts While Shaving for June 18

Sometimes, us human beings ‘mess-up’, then want to blame everyone else … in our daily lives, government, church … whatever…

Every now and then, I begin to feel a little more positive about the coronavirus issue … then check stats and see the number of new illnesses continues to climb … and, again, I want to blame someone. … The more we come in contact with others, the more likely we are to be a patient … locally, statewide, nationwide and worldwide. … A tough adjustment … and it is a killer … and at my age, I am a prospect … but, I’m tired of being confined to my small corner of the world…

And a tough issue for business owners forced to shut down … especially small business owners … on the verge of bankruptcy … and we think, why me? Everyone else is doing business, why not me? Understandable…

Remember the Kris Kristofferson song … ‘Why Me Lord?’

I’m fine, blessed, bored, old, anxious, thankful, but not overly blessed with patience … I need an attitude adjustment…

“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes.” Andrew Carnegie

“A happy life consists not in the absence, but in the mastery of hardship.” Helen Keller

“A happy man is too satisfied with the present to dwell too much on the future.” Albert Einstein
