LSU over Florida college baseball championship. Score was 3-2, in extra innings … LSU leads the best-of-3 series. Game 2 is tonight.
PGA scores are unbelievably low this week … The Travelers Championship had more low 60s scores than I recall in a while … One 60 and at least one 61 … Thought there may be a 59, not yet … Play continues today. Keagan Bradley leads Chez Reavie by 1 stroke going into the final round.
Did you go by Elizabethtown ballpark yesterday … Have seen minor league and college games with less vehicles … Think it is great … Girls and boys games underway … understand they continue today … Not sure of age group … but youngsters … and moms and dads and grandparents … Good wholesome entertainment.
Some of my best memories are of Little League in the late 60s and early 70s … Yep, old timer … Had a gentleman at one of the local convenience stores remind me yesterday … Lifetime friends … many I can not recall their names … Monroe was his name, he said so … not sure if first or last … but we are buddies … again, he said so.
Anyone else cut grass and weeds yesterday … Tough weeds…
More rain late yesterday … about 3/4 of an inch on an already wet area … but all is still welcome … Corn and other crops looking good … Forecast for this area today is good … Sunny, with a high near 91 and no mention of rain … today or tonight … Monday a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92 … heat values Monday as high as 102 and windy, gusts as high as 21 mph…

I do less reading now than before … But, I am a huge Nicholas Sparks fan. New book is Dreamland … ’bout half way thru and it’s good reading … Good Father’s Day gift … from one son … the other was equally as generous … I … We are fortunate, my bride and I.
