Ever imagine being an office holder of one of the top branches of government, President, leader of the US Senate, House of Representatives, or maybe Governor? Since none of us are, if you were advising at either level … what would be the topic of your advice or question be?

How about another a North Carolina winner in the Saturday night Powerball drawing. The ticket was purchased at Carlie C’s food store in Hope Mills, according to published reports. The winning ticket is worth $364.6 million or $223.3 million if the winner takes lump sum payout. And, Carlie C’s will receive $50,000, an incentive award for selling the winning ticket. Last report I saw, no one had come forward with the winning ticket. A change is coming in someone’s lifestyle.

Be my luck to misplace the ticket…

It’s Monday, June 3 … turn the calendar and move forward.

A topic of interest to many. … Is Sunday School a dying business in our churches? Seems, in many worship centers, especially young couples with children, attendance continues to lag … or it appears to be so. Too much competition for time. Hopefully not so at most other houses of worship.

Still need rain, thankful for what we did receive over the past few days.
