Attended a meeting recently … numerous topics on the agenda … One of Bladen’s greatest needs … childcare … daycare…

Crops are looking good in the area, especially when you consider the low rainfall totals…

Bladenboro’s new downtown area is looking good … Hopeful of a grand opening before the end of the year … Most recent report indicates all or nearly all space have been, or will be spoken for…

Another huge issue throughout the area … lack of available workforce … More jobs available than ‘warm bodies’.
