Thoughts While ShavingGood bye February, Hello March … Looking forward to Springtime … begins March 21 … Don’t think for a minute that winter time is over … If the past is any indication, March can deliver some cold, wet, windy weather…

Weather forecast for today, tonight and tomorrow … Mostly sunny today, with a high near 80 and windy. Tonight, a slight chance of rain between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. March winds with gusts as high as 16 mph … Our chance of rain is 50%.

Looking ahead to Thursday, showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 7 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., and more showers after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 80 … chance of rain is near 60%. Daytime highs 70s and 80s, dropping to upper 60 Sunday and Monday.

A reminder of the Dublin Peanut Festival Fish Fry, Saturday, March 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lu Mil General Store … It’s a fundraiser to support the Peanut Festival … Tickets are $20 each … Hot dogs and fries available for youngsters under 12 years of age … for just $5.

Anyone else with a pool table that takes up lots of space? … sole purpose seems to be for folding clothes … Fond memories of neighborhood youngsters shooting pool … Not sure if any sticks capable of shooting balls … or balls to shoot. Just jiving … have both … balls and cue sticks … players missing…

Think my bride and I are outliving some of our necessities … like heating and cooling and refrigeration … Looking forward to whatever is next…
