Congratulations to both Bladen County teams playing basketball in the finals … East Bladen Girls posted a impressive win early yesterday beating Perquimans 77-63 in the 1A East finals … West Bladen boys play Thursday in the 2A East finals … East Bladen girls will play Friday for the state championship … Games are in Winston-Salem.
I think back to a few years ago … and think about preparing for Little League baseball … I enjoyed it as much as the youngsters did … and every now and then I am happy when someone speaks and calls me coach … We had some very good, dedicated youngsters … now grown, married with family … maybe grands…
