Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

My makeshift office looks a great deal like a junk yard for computers. … When one ceases operation, rather than dispose of it, I place in in my computer junkyard…

Actually purchased a new one, ’bout a year ago … complete with Windows 10 and have played with it from time to time. … Have no choice, it’s now or never…

Reminded of a neighbor … many, many years ago who worked at Bladenboro Cotton Mill, 1st shift which began at 6 or 7 AM, can’t remember which. He walked to work, about 4 miles or more for years … then purchased a used T-model Ford, the kind that had an electric (?) starter, and if that failed he could crank by spinning the motor with a hand crank. … Neighbor asked him about his new investment, his reply was along this line. … Well, when I was walking to work, I knew the time I needed to depart to arrive on time … now need to rise an hour earlier to determine if I walk or ride … ’bout the way I am dealing with different computer. … But, I will conquer, one way of the other.

Never dreamed the coronavirus issues would ever cause so much confusion. … Postponements, cancellations … and, unfortunately, sickness, even deaths, and some declare it’s the Democrats attempting to oust President Trump … bet you have heard that one. … Friday morning, one of the early morning network ‘talk shows’ spoke with Senator Ted Cruz (R) who was in a self-imposed quarantine at his home. … Asked him about that … his reply was along this line … There is no Democrat or Republican virus … there is a virus that began in China, where there are no Republicans or Democrats, and it spread worldwide. … Sen. Cruz thoughts, not mine… I depend on FactCheck and Snopes … at least I check those sources.

No sporting events, government officials attempting to do what needs to be done to protect the masses. … Clorex folks and toilet tissue folks should be doing well … financially. And, church leaders are suggesting worshipers stay home. … Can’t help but think about the finances to pay the staff, the utility bills, etc. Oh well, hopefully it will all be over … soon…

“If you’re not confused, you’re not paying attention” Tom Peters
