Thoughts While ShavingIf you have not voted….one more opportunity.  Polls all across Bladen County and the state of North Carolina will be open tomorrow (Tuesday).
There is so much attention on the presidential race, would be easy to forget other offices to be filled from the courthouse to the statehouse.  See a sample ballot on the Bladen County Board of Elections website or stop by their office at 301 Cypress Street, Elizabethtown, directly behind the Post Office.
You must have a picture ID to be eligible to vote.  I used my Drivers License….in Early Voting.
Bladen is busy and the BladenOnline staff does a better job than anyone reporting the good and the bad.
Our numbers continue to amaze me.  BladenOnline provides a great local news source that covers the landscape 24-7-365, and we (Bladen County) need it and deserve it.  And, The Best Is Yet To Come.  I am proud of the work done by all….
This time of the year, John Clark, our sportswriter, is as busy as anyone and no one, no one covers the landscape better, spring time, fall or winter.  I remember the day he agreed to cover local sports for BladenOnline.  That was a great day for all.
When BladenOnline began providing a daily source of local news, it was tough.  Credibility was important, by those who had a message that needed to told, by our readers and by our advertisers and staff.  Without predictability, it is tough, like beating your head against a wall, while looking for a door.
We have worked hard since February 1, 2008 to establish that credibility.  Still working on it.  How are we doing?
Thoughts on the teams headed to the March Madness dance?
A bone to pick (someone who wants to discuss a disagreement)
Been through the mill (had a rough time of it)
Bad Egg (Someone who was not a good person)
At sea (lost or not understanding something)
