How about the Lady Eagles???? Victorious again as they continue their efforts to win a state 2A championship. Last night, they defeated Jacksonville Northside 48-31. Lacey Suggs and Abby Ward had big nights, but lots of support from the entire team. Their next game will be Saturday in Fayetteville as they attempt to win the NCHSAA 2A Eastern Regional Girls Championship. Their opponent will be the winner of the North Pitt (27-1) and High Point Andrews (23-6) game scheduled for tonight. Game time will be announced later. The Lady Eagles have now won 31 games without a loss.

How does President Trump or President Clinton sound? Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton scored several big wins yesterday. Clinton needs 2,383 delegates for the nomination. She has 1,001 to Bernie Sanders 371. Another 3,993 are available.
Donald Trump needs 1,237 for the Republican nomination. He has 285, Ted Cruz 161, Mario Rubio 87, John Kasich has 25 and Dr. Ben Carson 8. 1,889 remain available.
North Carolina’s primary election is two weeks from today. Will be interesting to see if the NC votes have any bearing on either candidate securing the nomination. Could all be over, but could be the deciding factor. We shall see.
