Saw a few cute quotes on Internet … will share a few. … “Our cleaning lady just called and told us she will be working from home and she will send us instructions on what to do.”

Another … “If the schools are closed much longer parents will find a vaccine before the scientists.”

“I am to that moment when I began to worry about the elderly, and realize that I am the elderly!”

One more, “Gas is finally affordable and we have nowhere to go.”

We are blessed in so many ways. … Too much time on my hands, discovered that over 7,000 North Carolina individuals, LLC’s and businesses received over $160 million in various forms from agriculture related subsidies last year … (2019), over $1.6 million to over 75 entities in Bladen County. … Not sure what all was included … no doubt some could have been crop insurance. … Most of the North Carolina subsidies were for farmers and others in eastern NC. Range was from over $100,000 per entity to less than a $1,000.

Not picking on farmers. … No telling how much FEMA-related funds were received in the county and area last year … and now the feds are debating the largest subsidies ever as we attempt to ‘climb out of a hole’ not of our own making…

Still the greatest nation anywhere … and we will overcome. … Do miss a noon time or evening meeting 2 or 3 times a week with family and friends … this too shall pass.

“A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.” Thomas Jefferson

“Talk is cheap … except when Congress does it.” Anonymous

The only difference between a tax man and a taxidermist is that the taxidermist leaves the skin.
