Was driving thru the Elizabethtown Industrial Park recently … I observed a walkway around a pond and thru a wooded area … so inviting … except my walking days ended years ago … and I can’t get going again … Actually seen the walkway on numerous visits to the area…
Trinity UMC’s annual fish fry is scheduled for Wednesday, April 5th (a week from today) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. … $8 per plate, eat in or take out…
Nashville, Tennessee shootings were senseless … Young lady doing the shooting suffering from mental issues, according to published reports, and still able to purchase untold numbers of firearms … 6 dead, 3 adults and 3 young students … I hope and pray the responding police are not charged with any crimes … They put their lives on the line to protect others…
A pet peeve … Members of Congress treating folks called to testify or answer their questions being treated unkind … both parties … The good book says ‘do unto others as you would have them do to you.” Congressmen and ladies, best I can tell, are not excluded … Tough questions, yes … treating folks like trash is not OK. Just my thoughts … Think I could name a few on both sides of the aisle…
March Madness college basketball action continues … Women’s play resumes Friday … Men’s action, Saturday April 1.
When I was in public school … eons ago … I began to get restless ’bout this time of the year … thinking about the end of the school year … Not thinking about breaking ground with a turn plow behind a mule or horse … Take days to plow a field that today, with a tractor, can be completed in hours, not days…

If you see a larger number of planes in the area than usual over the next few days, some may be traveling thru the area, I am told, headed to a Fun & Sun event in Lakeland, Florida … Some stop along the way to refuel or get a snack, or both … May explain the extra air traffic … FYI…
