Tuesday night, a slight chance of showers after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 54 … windy, gusts as high as 18 mph and a 20% chance of precipitation.
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 72 … 90% chance of rain…
Officials with the Bladen County Office of Emergency Management Office continue to urge caution … “Although a burn ban is not in place, NC Forestry Service and Bladen County officials are advising precaution.” The current winds and low humidity increases the risk of an escaped fire … Please, please delay any outside burning until weather conditions improve.
Reminder of the basketball playoff action at both our high schools … Men’s team at West Bladen and ladies team at East … both doing well … Both have games set for Tuesday evening…
