Congratulations are in order to the West Bladen boys and East Bladen girls basketball teams. Both easily won games Tuesday in the third round of the state playoffs.
West Bladen boys beat Elizabeth City Northeastern 70-40 in the 2A playoffs and will travel to Farmville Central on Friday for a fourth-round game. West Bladen and Farmville Central split two meetings this season.
The East Bladen girls won at Wilson Prep 68-43 and will travel to North Duplin on Friday in the 1A playoffs.
Again, congratulations to both squads and hoping for continued success.
