Weather folks warned us of rain and wind yesterday … and it was rainy and windy. Highest wind in our area … gust in the 40-plus mph range. Rain, about an inch and a half, according to our gauge … Moved out and all is well.
Last night … partly cloudy with a low in the low 40s and gusts still strong … recorded in the 18 mph range.
Today … Sunny with a high near 58 … West wind 9 to 14 mph … gusts as high as 25 mph. Tonight, clear skies with a low around 34.
Friday … Mostly sunny with a high near 62. Partly cloudy Friday night with a low around 47 and windy, gusts as high as 16 mph.
Bladen County school students back in school today…
Too much time on my hands … Average age of US citizens … 30 to 34 years old. Over 85 … 1.92%
Congratulations to the East Bladen girls basketball team and the West Bladen boys team … both advancing in the state playoffs…
How ’bout the wind and rain yesterday? Could do with less wind…
