I miss country stores that were located in many local communities … Could get a cold soft drink, salted peanuts, some had chairs with just enough ‘bottom’ to hold up for a couple of hours and a Moon Pie if you needed dessert … and a small TV that worked most of the time … And, if you needed a $’s worth of gas … pump it up where you could see it before putting in vehicle.
