How about a compliment for one county agency as we begin a new week … Bladen County Water Department apparently had problems with their distribution system late last weekend in some areas, including north of the Cape Fear River … Not sure how many were without … BC Water folks delivered bottled water to their customers who were affected … Good customer service … Oh yes, according to one caller, service was restored over the weekend … hopefully to all…
I stepped on the scales early this AM with high hopes … My bride enjoyed Mother’s Day gifts from our boys, including some sweets and I assisted in disposing of them … Saw the results when I stepped on the scales early this morning … Not good for me, but it was mmmm good.
Wish all who attempt to ‘tear down’ our country could work just as hard to bring some unity … Not a ‘D’ or ‘R’ thing, it’s a ‘US’ thing and more noticeable in recent years…
Want to draw a crowd? Involve children … Had a couple of families ‘dedicate’ their newly borns’ yesterday at the church I attend … brings out the kin folks…
Scrolling through TV last night and discovered an interview with the late Charlie Daniels on RFD TV … I really enjoyed … Charlies had many relatives in this area and for years was hunting with kin folk between Christmas and New Years, annually. He passed away in the recent past.

Southwest wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40% … More of the same tonight, except a 60% chance of precipitation…
