Life as we know it has changed, but despite the slowdown caused by COVID-19, much good continues … Progress continues in the Elizabethtown Industrial Park … EDC folks are working with prospects, yet to be announced, on attracting more jobs for the area … and, despite a slowdown, progress in Bladenboro has slowed but not ceased, including the recent announcement of a new business coming to the area, actually already operating, processing smoked turkey legs (?) and exporting a large portion to the far east … about 35 new jobs when in full operation … More later…
About as much activity as ever ongoing involving EDC and Bladen Agri-Industrial committee, much activity (in the works) over coming months … despite the pandemic. … Chuck, Jeannie and Linda are busy … and NC Southeast continues to be helpful.

New facilities for Elizabethtown Fire Department and Rescue Squad appears to be near completion and adds much to the east end of Broad Street … and a stoplight no longer needed has been removed … good move (my opinion).
The sooner proper medication is produced to deal with COVID-19, the sooner we return to normal, well, as near normal as possible…
