At the Hester household and at the Curtis Brown Airport east of Elizabethtown, rainfall totaled .47 inches yesterday. There is a slight chance of more today.
The spring sports season is coming to close, but not over yet. West Bladen’s lady softball team travels to North Johnston for a 7 p.m. game today and members of the East Bladen track & field team travels to Franklinton for Regional competition that begins at noon today.
East Bladen girls soccer team will play at First Flight Saturday. The match begins at 5 p.m. in Kill Devil Hills.
