Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

Saturday was a good day for many at White Lake, including many associated with White Lake International, a Triathlon: Sprint. And, there were others, many apparently checking out changes at the popular lake … Bottom line … a big crowd at White Lake … and all appeared to be enjoying a day … And, today should be even better…

Weather forecast for today … A mix of clouds and sun early followed by cloudy skies this afternoon … High in the low to mid 80s and windy, southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph. Low tonight in the mid 60s … cloudy with a 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms developing after midnight and windy. Monday, a 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms and windy … Tuesday’s high … near 90 and a 20% chance of precipitation.

Church services today, onsite, on Facebook and numerous other options. Difficult to have an excuse to miss church today … Your choice of time and source … Too be perfectly honest, hope outdoor options are limited due to rain … not likely … If yes, go to plan ‘B’.

Interesting to watch folks promoting numerous ‘do good’ efforts for children, veterans, any numerous other good causes … and many promoting giving, and many suggesting a ‘sign up’ for $19 per month … Guess everyone but me understands … why that amount? I especially like the youngsters promoting Shriners and St. Jude hospitals…

Good to see so many out and about after 12-15 months of being ‘shutout’, of a normal routine … due to the pandemic…

A reminder … Bladen County Shriners’ Fish Fry scheduled for Wednesday, May 5th at Food Lion Parking lot in Elizabethtown … Proceeds support good causes including Shriners Hospitals…
