Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

WOW! Yesterday was one hot day, 97 degrees and apparently we are in for more of the same. Highs for the next few days in the mid 90 range. No rain in sight, and it is badly needed. Recently planted fields very dry, plants beginning to looked stressed.

Memorial Day approaching means lots of folks moving around, drive with care … for many, cookouts are planned, a fun time. And for others just another workday.

Any special thoughts related to Memorial Day? Shared mind yesterday.

On the farm many years ago, for the most part, it was just another work day.

The plot thickens in D.C. No lack of news, mostly not what we thought we were paying for, both political parties.

If you were a candidate for political office, what would you be discussing? Economy, for the most part is pretty good, jobs available, tariffs are causing some concerns/frustration, but, apparently, some of our trading partners do not play by generally accepted rules and regulations.

As my mom would say, always something.

Stay cool, if possible.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” Steve Jobs

“A man should never neglect his family for business.” Walt Disney

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” Thomas Edison
