Thoughts While ShavingBladen County Law Enforcement Officers are sponsoring a Captain’s Choice Golf Tournament, Saturday, June 4th at Vineyard Golf at White Lake. The cost is $200 per team. For details, check the groups Facebook page. Proceeds benefit Operation Christmas. Last year 10 families and 20 children were assisted.

The Bladen County Committee of 100 will hold their annual meeting on June 8 at Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery in the Elizabethtown Airport Industrial Park. Memberships are $100 for members, $200 for businesses. Michael Nagowski, CEO of Cape Fear Valley Health Systems will be the guest speaker. He will be discussing the future of healthcare in our area.
