Our 2016 election process has produced a Republican candidate for president, and the Democrats are nearing the end the selection process……and then round 2.
This is America, can’t believe the process must be so mean spirited.
Thank to all the candidates for offering themselves for a long-drawn-out process. Without candidates, no process.
There are 6,578,672 voters in North Carolina. The breakdown: 2,652,185 Democrats, 2,006,212 Republicans, 27,511 Libertarians and 1,892,764 unaffiliated.
The US Justice Department has notified state officials that HB 2 is illegal. Will be interesting to see what happens next. The deadline for responding to the directive is Monday. The NC Legislature is in session.
Today’s 1977 youth sports team is the Elizabethtown Mets. Team members included: Scott Hinson, Ricky Rhoda, Michael Lesane, Ralph Hammonds, Kenneth Carter, Gary Britt, Patrick Powell, Brad Haynes, Roger Paschal, Rodney Rhoda, Bobby Norris, Billy Babson, Jimmy Hill and Mark Garner. Coaches were Billy Carter, Dewitt Powell and Jim Hill.
