It’s been a strange weekend for this Hester’s household … Thursday, I worked outside, burning debris that had been building up for several months … Was busy, in fact a little stretched out … but doable … Friday, began feeling like ‘crap’ … By mid-afternoon, I decided I best seek medical advice, visited Bladen County Hospital … I thought I may have COVID-19 … DOC said I had the FLU, so I have been homebound since … Missed a very important event honoring our granddaughter and her husband-to-be last night (Saturday) … I am just hoping, praying for better times ahead … Not singing the blues, just facing facts.

A full slate of activity planned for the coming week … Monday night event is off the schedule … A dental appointment Tuesday, carpet cleaning folks scheduled for Wednesday, a ’56 Bladenboro Class Reunion on Thursday, and annual meeting of Star TMC Saturday … Hopeful of a quick successful return to good health … If not, devise a new plan.

I am still among men most richly blessed…

I thought about not sharing, but those are my thoughts while shaving…

Meanwhile, the 2022 Election is set for Tuesday, November, 8, 2022. Some will be happy, some will be sad and some probably do not care … Just get it over with … Pray the best win, whoever they are…
