Expect a nice day today, weather wise. Mostly sunny with a high near 70. Tonight, a slight chance of rain, lows in the low 50s. Tomorrow, windy, a 90 percent chance of rain, totals could be in the half- to three-quarters of an inch range.

Looking ahead, cold Wednesday, high in the low 40s and overnight lows around 27 degrees.

Remember when local petroleum providers had trucks throughout the area delivering fuel oil. Guess other forms of heat like gas and electricity have changed the landscape.
