Taking a look at the upcoming week … a 40% chance of precipitation Tuesday night and Wednesday … with cooler weather to follow … High temps thru Sunday … Upper 50s and low 60s … Overnight lows … beginning Wednesday … overnight lows upper 30s to low 40s…
Many of our fellow “‘tar heels” still strugglin’ in the western part of the state … Can’t imagine traveling round one of the mountains … with much of the highway still missing … NCDOT no doubt busy, as well as contractors…

Next weekend … (Upcoming) 1st Annual Community Fall Festival and Expo … Saturday and Sunday at Bladen County Park near NC Highway Patrol station on Highway 701 … My information suggests there will be games, prizes, food, fun … and dress up like a scarecrow and compete in the best dressed contest…
