Robert Hester, Founder of BladenOnline.comWoke up, got up after a tough and tumbling type of night … no reason, just trouble sleeping … And I am a dreamer … As a young man, person, there were few things I did not try … Thank goodness, most were short term experiences … While tossing and turning I thought about some of the lines in Johnny Cash songs … some he wrote, some written for him by others … and I was not in his condition … just dreaming … One line was about sleeping at some strange place … “Sunday Mornin’ coming Down”, going thru his clothes looking “for his cleanest dirty shirt” … “No way to hold my head that didn’t hurt,” I saw a rerun recently, him on TV … Could just see and feel his hurt, but wanted to make someone happy, he was preparing to go to church.

Carolina apparently traded Christian McCaffrey to the 49ers … for multiple draft picks … not sure if another rebuilding or another tearing down … I’m sorry … just a McCaffrey fan … pound for pound, the best they had … my opinion…

How you doin’ with this colder weather?

Sunny today, with a high near 72. Clear tonight, with a low around 46. Saturday, sunny with a high near 75. ‘Bout the same type weather for the coming week … Highs should be in the low 80s over the next few days … but no rain in sight…

Just one more week ’til Beast of Bladenboro Festival…
