Today, youngsters have more time to play sports and senior citizens have more time to rock on the front porch … just the facts of life … We are moving on…

Beast Fest begins later today in Bladenboro, and continues all day long tomorrow … One big party and all are invited…

Keep hearing about a shortage of housing in Bladen and surrounding counties … Lots of older, abandoned houses in just about every nook and corner of the county … Some used up, some maybe usable, with some repairs…

Another round of funding for fiber in some rural areas … Star Telco has an application in for the next round of funding … Need about $35 to $40 million to complete their projects…
