Jon Gruden resigned as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, effective immediately, after a Wall Street Journal article detailing a 2011 email in which he used a racial term to describe NFL players. Gruden was in the 4th year of a 10 year contract. Special team coordinator Rich Bisaccla was named new coach.
