I recall Friday nights over the years … fall of the year … We, my friends and I, broadcast high school football … Early in our careers, gather up an old Ampex tape recorder and head to Bladenboro, Clarkton, Elizabethtown and Tar Heel … Continued after consolidation, later at West Bladen and East Bladen … We had lots of fun … mmmm back in 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and more … Before FM, we would tape the games and play them back on WBLA Saturday morning … With FM … live…
As I age, hopefully stay up long enough to know the winner before bedtime…
