Today’s weather forecast … Areas of fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny with a high near 83. Tonight (Thursday), mostly clear with a low around 63. Friday … Mostly sunny with a high near 82 … Similar forecast thru Sunday … Highs in the mid 70s early next week. It is the fall season…
The disaster, the flood in the North Carolina mountains is unreal … A sad situation, it’s an opportunity to show “real love and concern” for others … Bladen County and surrounding areas have and continue to support residents of the area…
Numerous churches, civic type organizations and individuals continue to respond … 18-wheelers loaded with water, some have made several trips from this area. Minuteman Stores have provided water and goodies to folks in need. Individuals, churches and civic organizations are participating … and I know for a fact that other counties in the area are doing the same … and still … more is needed. Houses damaged, some destroyed. Utilities are damaged throughout the area…
Bladen County individuals, churches, and businesses have responded and continue to do so … and the needs continue to grow…
