Mostly sunny today, with a high near 74 and wind gusts in the 15 mph range. Tonight, mostly cloudy, with a low around 56 and more wind gusts in the same range. Thursday, a slight chance of showers before 2 p.m., windy with gusts in the 25 mph range, and a 20% chance of rain.

I am frustrated with fake Messenger conversations from long time friends … Always end with wanting to know if I have heard of some grant … That is the end of my conversation … Kinda tired of them … Have no idea they are my long time friends. Fake, fake, sad and frustrating … My friends did not fall for this fake idea…

Now, back to the storm. An exact track of the storm is impossible to determine … Just keep listening to radio and TV and prepare…

Bad for all, but really bad for folks barely surviving and thinking about the possibility of damage to home, auto, etc. Lack of power … despite the fact that power companies serving this area have done a pretty good job over the years … Pray for the best … Actually, storm winds should be much lower … but damage is damage and tough for those who have it…

Plans are likely to be disrupted … Know of one wedding planned for Saturday … May be forced to move to plan B despite months of preparation … Wish them the best…

High school football games have been moved from Friday night to Thursday night…

I am up early, real early, too early. Crazy dream … I dreamed I misplaced my computer and could not find it any place … Crawled out of bed and began the search … It was at the same location it has been for humpteen years…

Money pouring out of Raleigh and Washington … for numerous needed products … Guess from savings by Legislature and other leaders at the state level … No idea where federal funds are coming from … same place as in the past, I guess … borrow, borrow and borrow … Some things never change.
