The 24th Annual Dublin Peanut Festival will be held Saturday. The Parade begins at 10 a.m. with Opening Ceremonies slated for 11 a.m. with numerous fun activities; food, music and so much more all day long. Lelmer Bryan of Dublin, recognized as Bladen County’s oldest WWII Navy Veteran, will be the Parade Grand Marshall.

BBQ plates go on sale at 11 a.m., eat in or take out. Numerous bands provide music beginning at 11:30 a.m. and Festival Queens, Classic Cars and Mechanical Rides will be around all day long.
Dublin Peanut Festival is one of the area’s finest festivals. Area residents come together, work hard for months and then use proceeds to support worthy efforts in the area.
