Thoughts While ShavingLooking for fun, excitement today, head to Dublin and enjoy all the festivities associated with the Annual Dublin Peanut Festival.  A parade kicks off the activities at 10 a.m., followed by something for every member of the family, just about all day long.  Check their website for the line-up of events.

The weather should be perfect, with partly sunny skies and high temps in the mid 80s.

East Bladen High School traveled to Wilmington last night for football action, and came up a little short.  Final score, 31- 7, Laney.  The Eagles (2-2) of EB begin conference play next Friday night when they host Midway (3-1).

West Bladen (2-2) had an open date.  The Knights also begin conference play Friday night when they host the Union Spartans (4-0).  Gametime for all high school football games across the state is 7 p.m.
