Thoughts While Shaving for September 25

We are hours away from the first Trump-Clinton debate. The debate will take place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York beginning at 9 PM Monday. NBC anchorman Lester Holt will be moderator for the hour and half long discussion.

Estimates indicate up to 100 million viewers will be tune-in.

How about you, plan to watch?

We get so wrapped up in these type events. Attended a visitation for a friend last evening, could not help but think, for this individual, the debate means little. Sometimes we need to step back and put it all in perspective.

Frankly, I thought we had better candidates.

Union high school football team defeated West Bladen 26-12 last night. East Bladen scored a victory over Midway Friday night. First conference game of the season for both teams.

Thought UNC’s win was most exciting, big victory for Duke over Notre Dame, Wake Forest defeated Indiana and NC State had an open date. ECU fans now 2-2 for the season, after a 2-0 start under new head coach.

Had planned to ‘tag along’ with family members to see the Vikings play the Panthers at 1 PM today, but we all decided to much action in Charlotte right now, maybe we ‘catch’ a game later this season.
