Former West Bladen’s Brandon Council played a huge role at offensive right guard in the Auburn win.

Bob Lewis came to Elizabethtown as head football coach in 1972 and departed in 1980 … He returned Saturday and was greeted by many former East Bladen players and other friends … Good to see the coach and so many players from years ago … He has written a book, an autobiography, “My Story”, a good read. I read it from beginning to end yesterday … brought back many, mostly good memories…

NFL action today … Larrell Murchison and the Tennessee Titans play the Minnesota Vikings … Panthers travel to California for a game with the LA Chargers…

President Trump introduced his selection for Supreme Court Justice yesterday … Politics is boiling over and no end in sight ’til after November 3rd.

A reminder, if you have questions related to either campaign, FactCheck or go to Snopes … Sometimes in political campaigns, gets too sounding good and some quotes may need to be checked for accuracy … both sides…

Church services today … in person, or on the internet…

“God’s voice is still and quiet and easily buried under an avalanche of clamour.” Charles Stanley

“There is nothing wrong with men possessing riches. The wrong comes when riches possess men.” Billy Graham

“A child who is allowed to be disrespectful to his parents will not have true respect for anyone.” Billy Graham
