Thoughts While Shaving for September 30

What if you were in the 7th, 8th, maybe 9th grade in school, and your assignment was to write a paper on last night’s presidential debate, where would you begin? What would you say?

One suggestion for next such event, turn off mic of the one not scheduled to be speaking … Actually, felt the moderator had a tough task … Can hear my mom saying … my, my, my…

Today is the last day of September, 2020 … Checking average highs and lows for October … 76 and 48 and average rainfall is 3.2 inches …. compared with average high and low for September of 84 and 60.

Usually have our first frost of the year in late October or early November…

Can you image gathering peanuts and cotton by hand? That was how it was done … a few years ago…

How ’bout the issue with college and NFL teams … some shutting down, hopefully for a short time due to the virus … Not a normal year, for sure…

Thought we were going to be blown away last night … a sigh of relief when a tornado warning was lifted … My bride and I had a place ‘picked out’ if necessary…

Growing older is good and bad … good to be around for a while longer, sad to see the loss of friends to one disease or another…

Do not regret growing older … It is a privilege denied to many.

Of course I know how old I am! Well, I know when I was born. I don’t like doing the math, so I usually just ballpark it.
