An interesting day yesterday, weather-wise … Much cooler temps … high was 81, however, the wind made it feel much cooler … gusts most of the day … Highest gusts was in the low 20 mph range … 23 mph to be exact, that I saw.
Today, nice day … Partly sunny with a high near 81, windy, gusts in the high teens. Mostly cloudy tonight with a low around 66 … Best chance for rain over the coming week … Saturday and Saturday night … in the 30% range.
Anyone else tired of political TV ads? Election day is about 9 weeks away … Part of who we are as Americans…

Everyone received their Tax Notices? Various dates related to payment … no penalty if paid before the first of the year … Official deadline on tax bill.
Anyone remember VOA … Voice of America … The US’s efforts to send messages to foreign countries … mostly to those we greatly disagree with … like Russia … There was at least one site in Bladen County … not sure if any construction or not. I remember visiting the “bare” site … in the East Arcadia area … not far from the school…
Most long time investors saw a tough day yesterday … September is one, maybe the worst months of the year for investors … Don’t look now … It will return to previous levels over time … or has over past years … best bet for all.
Weeds are going fast … cut over the weekend … some a foot or more of growth in a few hours…
