Deliberations continue today in Bladen County, in a case that could have state-wide implications. It relates to a business in Bladen County with gaming machines in a store being operated by Richard Taylor, but it is so much more. As one of my friends stated, “It’s about a multi-million dollar business getting a foothold in the region and whether it’s going to be legal or not.” Interestingly, BladenOnline is the only news source covering the trial being prosecuted by DA Jon David. The jury began deliberations late last week, a verdict could come anytime. BladenOnline will be there.
