East Bladen’s baseball team and West Bladen’s baseball and softball teams will be participating in Easter tournaments beginning Saturday.
Coach Russell Priest’s Eagles bring a 3-6 record into their opening round game Saturday in the Terry Sanford Easter Tournament against Freedom Christian Academy (4-5). Game time is 4 p.m.
Coach Kim Cain’s West Bladen baseball team take a 1-10 record into their opening round game in the Robeson County Slugfest Saturday at 4 p.m. against Hoke County. The Bucks own an 8-6 record and are the Slugfest’s top seed.
Coach Pam Stephens’ West Bladen softball team brings a 6-4 record into the Robeson County Slugfest. The Lady Knights are seeded sixth and will open the tournament Saturday at 10 a. m. against Purnell Swett (6-4).
Play will continue in all three tournaments Monday and will conclude Tuesday.
